As a Mental Health Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting patients with their recovery journey, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to patients.

Support individuals with daily living activities and therapeutic programmes.

Observe, monitor, and accurately report patient behaviour and wellbeing.

Work collaboratively with nurses, psychiatrists, therapists, and wider multidisciplinary teams.

Maintain a safe, secure, and positive environment for patients and staff.

Assist in managing challenging behaviours using de-escalation techniques and approved interventions.

Promote recovery-focused care and encourage patient independence.

Ensure all safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety procedures are followed
