What will you do as an Accounts Assistant?

Manage and maintain both sales and purchase ledger functions

Support credit control activity, including chasing overdue payments

Process invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry

Prepare BACS payment runs and carry out reconciliations

Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Assist with payroll processing and related finance administration
What do you need as an Accounts Assistant?

Experience in a transactional finance role (sales and/or purchase ledger)

Confident using Sage accounting software

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

Ability to work well within a small, collaborative team

Flexible, hands-on approach to varied finance tasks

Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
