Seymour John is working with a business in Telford who are looking to hire an Accountants Assistant on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on reconciliations, cashflow support, and producing accurate financial information.
The role will include:

Supporting cashflow reporting and day-to-day cash management

Bank reconciliations (high volume / multi-account if required)

Credit card statement processing and reconciliations

Purchase ledger support: invoice processing, matching, supplier queries

Sales ledger support: invoicing, allocations, chasing/query management
What we’re looking for:

Experience in a similar Accounts Assistant position

Strong working knowledge of bank recs, ledgers, and reconciliations

Comfortable picking up systems quickly and working with financial deadlines

Accurate, proactive, and naturally organised with strong attention to detail
