General Warehouse Operative - Waltham cross
Contract: Temporary Pay: £13 per hour Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
We're recruiting a dependable General Warehouse Operative to support our courier warehouse in Waltham cross. You'll help ensure parcels are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently as part of the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Parcel Processing - Sort, scan, and move parcels through the warehouse.
Loading & Unloading - Assist with vehicle loading and unloading.
Health & Safety - Follow all safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace.
Equipment Use - Operate handheld scanners and basic warehouse equipment.
Team Collaboration - Work effectively with colleagues to meet operational targets.
Requirements
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or courier environment
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced setting
Basic understanding of scanning systems (training provided)
