We are currently looking for aMulti Skilled Operativeto join our team at Tarmac Wellington Sand and Gravel Quarry in Hereford. This role is accessible from Worcester, Leominster, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Ledbury, Leominster, Ludlow, Malvern, Craven Arms, Kidderminster, Tenbury Wells, Bewdley, Monmouth, Ross-on-Wye, Cinderford and the surrounding areas.

Role Responsibility
As Multi Skilled Operativereporting directly to the Plant Supervisor, you willbe responsible for:
All operational activities within a manufacturing environment
Meeting daily production target requirements
Supporting all site KPI’s including quality, Health and Safety, site housekeeping
Supporting and working alongside our site fitter on basic operator lead maintenance
Housekeeping and delivering excellent site standards.
Working with a team focused on great customer service, especially providinggood qualitymaterial and on-time deliveries to a varied customer base
Carrying out inspections on the plant and carry out housekeeping tasks and basic daily maintenance
Ensuring stocks are replenished andmaintainedto good levels
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role ofMulti Skilled Operative will havepreviousplant operational experience. You will also:
Be flexible and able todemonstrateacan doattitude
Possess initiative and be able to think for themselves
Hold a full UK driving Licence
Be a team player and an affective communicator
Ideally to have a forklift truck and loading shovel licence (training will be given to the right candidate)
Have a good attitude towards Health and Safety and the environment
Hard working and willing to learn new skills
