About the Role
As a Nursery Assistant, you will:

Support children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework

Deliver and assist with engaging play-based activities and learning sessions

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment

Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development
-
Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and transitions
-
Work closely with staff and parents to support children’s overall progress and wellbeing
Essential Requirements

Level 3 Qualification in Childcare – essential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential
-
Right to Work in the UK – essential

Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures

Caring, reliable, and proactive approach
Desirable

Driver preferred due to location/travel requirements

Experience supporting children with additional needs

Paediatric First Aid qualification
