A brilliant opportunity to join a well-established company in Hull on a temporary basis. This position would suit an immediately available candidate who has experience working in a sales administration or customer service role.
THE ROLE:
Manage and process sales orders with accuracy, ensuring timely fulfilment for allocated accounts.
Verify orders meet lead times, MOQs, and MTS/MTO requirements.
Allocate stock in line with contract terms and business rules.
Use SAP and Microsoft Office applications to handle orders, reporting, and communication.
Monitor stock at risk and coordinate extensions or corrective actions.
Review daily shortage reports and address supply constraints proactively.
Collect and analyse data to support operational decisions and improvements.
Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams via email, phone, and Teams.
Maintain appropriate stock levels and work with relevant teams to resolve shortages.
Provide cover for colleagues during absences to maintain continuity.
Participate in daily and weekly meetings to support team and business objectives.
THE CANDIDATE:
2-3 years' customer service experience.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
Strong customer communication skills via email and telephone.
SAP knowledge is desirable.
Background in order entry, credit/debit notes, complaints, and delivery follow‑up is desirable.
Be resilient and a proactive multitasker.
Possess a positive attitude and team focus.
