SEND Support Assistant

We are currently hiring a dedicated SEND Support Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school in Leeds. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support and small group support for pupils with SEND
Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
Support children with autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
Help implement EHCPs and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeingRequirements:
Experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant or similar
Knowledge of SEND needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language)
Patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Strong teamwork and communication skills
