As a Retail Field Service Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of keeping essential retail technology running at its best. Supporting cutting-edge weighing, labelling, and in-store systems, you’ll help customers minimise downtime and maximise performance. It’s a remote-based role with plenty of autonomy, backed by a knowledgeable and supportive team.
What You’ll Be Doing

Install, service, and repair retail equipment directly at customer sites

Diagnose faults quickly and deliver effective, first-time fixes

Provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and a proactive approach

Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance visits

Accurately log service work, parts, and customer interactions

Work closely with internal support teams to resolve complex issues

Keep up to speed with new technology, products, and retail industry standards
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a Field Service Engineer or similar hands-on role

Strong technical skills across electronic, mechanical, and software systems

A confident problem-solver who’s comfortable working independently

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Southern region

Relevant technical qualifications (electronics, IT, or engineering) are a plus
-
Willingness to respond to priority or emergency call-outs when required
