Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Immediate Start
Location: Ormiston Beachcroft Academy, London, NW8 0NW
Pay: £110 per day
Duration: 5 days per week, until the end of the academic year
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced male Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a Year 9 boy at Ormiston Beachcroft Academy. This is a full-time position starting immediately and continuing until the end of the school year.
The student has emotional and learning difficulties and would greatly benefit from the support of a strong, positive male role model who can build a consistent and trusting relationship. Establishing rapport and providing stability will be central to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day

Support the student’s emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour

Assist with access to the curriculum and encourage engagement in learning

Build a strong, professional and supportive relationship with the student

Work closely with teaching staff and the wider support team
Requirements:

Male LSA strongly preferred to meet the specific needs of the student

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is required

Proven experience working with children with emotional and learning difficulties is essential

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Patient, resilient, and able to remain calm under pressure
