Our client is seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Property Administrator to join their Glasgow based property team for a 6-month contract, you will help ensure people have safe, secure and well‑maintained accommodation at times when stability matters most. This is a role with real purpose, supporting individuals and families by delivering a responsive, person‑centred property service across a portfolio of properties.
You’ll coordinate reactive repairs and voids activity, logging tenant requests, assessing repair needs and issuing work orders to internal technicians and external contractors. Using specialist IT systems and apps, you’ll progress jobs through to completion, raise follow‑on works, update notes and costs, and escalate issues where required. You’ll also support the efficient turnaround of void properties, ensuring assessments, repairs and handovers move smoothly and are accurately recorded.
Working closely with Maintenance Technicians, you’ll schedule jobs, order parts, liaise with tenants to arrange access and communicate clearly with colleagues across the organisation. You’ll also support wider administrative tasks including invoice processing, supplier checks, filing and telephone support. As part of the property team, you’ll contribute to team meetings, reflective practice, policy feedback and continuous improvement, helping to strengthen the service provision.
Ideally the successful candidate will have some experience working in the property or maintenance sector, you will be confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Candidates will have strong communication skills, be able to problem solve, good judgement on when to escalate issues and an understanding of tenant needs.
