About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a Long Term Team in Bournemouth. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and safeguarding outcomes.
You will work with children, young people, and families on a long-term basis, ensuring stability, positive outcomes, and strong care planning.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload within the long-term team

Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews

Work closely with children, families, and partner agencies

Ensure safeguarding standards are met and maintained

Prepare reports for court and attend hearings where required

Contribute to permanency planning and stability for children
About You

Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

Registered with Social Work England
-
Proven experience in a long-term children’s services team
-
Strong assessment and report-writing skills

Confident managing complex cases and working autonomously

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
