Forklift Truck Driver / FLT Driver (Reach & Counterbalance)

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established logistics and warehouse operation in Leeds, for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable FLT Driver (Reach and Counterbalance) looking for a long-term, stable role within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading lorries using FLT (Reach & Counterbalance)
Moving, stacking, and organising stock within the warehouse
Supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency
General warehouse duties including picking, packing, and housekeeping
Using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer systems
Conducting pre-use checks on FLT equipment and reporting defects
Skills & Experience Required
Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance licences (essential)
Proven experience as a Forklift Truck Driver / Warehouse Operative
Experience in a logistics, distribution, or warehouse environment
Basic IT / computer skills (WMS systems desirable)
Strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
10:00am – 8:00pm
45 hours per week (including 1-hour unpaid break)
