The Role:
The Goods In / Dispatch Administrator will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the department through accurate administration, document control, and coordination of despatch activities. The position ensures all paperwork is correctly processed, stored, and traceable while supporting wider operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Goods In and Despatch departments
- Book out works orders, including checking paperwork and signing release notes
- Scan and archive documents, ensuring they are clear, legible, and traceable
- Assist with arranging transport for despatch activities
- Support other departments with administrative tasks when required
- Carry out additional duties to support departmental and business needs
About You:
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using administrative systems
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to resolving issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
