About the Role
Class Education is currently recruiting on behalf of this Stevenage based School for a committed and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position within a supportive and inclusive school setting.
The successful candidate will work closely with a pupil requiring additional support, providing tailored one-to-one assistance to help them engage with learning and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs

Assist in implementing personalised learning and behaviour strategies

Support the pupil’s social, emotional, and academic development

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and external professionals

Adapt resources and activities to meet individual needs

Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting

A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential
