Multi Trade Operative
We’re looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance across Planned Works, Voids, and Responsive Maintenance.
Working in both occupied and void properties, you’ll aim for first-time fixes while providing excellent customer service and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out multi-trade repairs (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, tiling, basic brickwork)

Support void refurbishments and planned works programmes

Attend responsive maintenance jobs and diagnose faults efficiently

Complete job records using PDA/mobile systems

Communicate professionally with residents and colleagues

Follow Health & Safety procedures and conduct risk assessments

Work flexibly and support apprentices where required
About You
-
Experience in multi-trade repairs within social housing or maintenance

Qualified in at least 1 core trades

Strong understanding of Health & Safety

Good customer service and communication skills
-
Full UK driving licence
-
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)

Able to meet security clearance requirements (SC/BPSS)
