Stores Operative
Our prestigious manufacturing-based client, based in Norwich, are looking for a Stores Operative to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.
Hours:
Monday to Thursday (Apply online only), Friday 08:00-14:00
Key knowledge, skills & Experience:
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurate and timely processing of Goods-In, from external Suppliers and internal Departments.

Accurate and timely processing of picking, packing and preparing for shipment (where appropriate) of all order types.

Maintaining stock rotation and accuracy
-
Accurate and timely processing of Cycle Counts.
-
Escalating any problems that need additional support.
-
Receipt and physical handling of parts/materials from suppliers.

Ensure delivery paperwork reflects the goods physically received and that this is correctly transacted on the E1 System
-
Ensure goods are checked at the time of delivery, on the E1 system, to see if they are a shortage against a corresponding work or sales order.

Work order picking to ensure that orders are picked on/before the required start date of the works order and processed correctly through the E1 system.

Picking, packing of parts/products and preparation of documentation for all order types to prepare them ready for shipment worldwide to meet customer delivery requirements and in compliance with Sinclair’s packaging standards.

Liaise with the logistics team with respect to the status of orders for shipment.

Ensure parts/materials are presented to production in a manner that is suitable to begin the manufacturing process.
Further Duties and Responsibilities:

Accurately complete all activities both physically and on E1, in a timely fashion.

Ensure that stock is moved from/into the Central Stores with the correct documentation.

Ensure that all items are stored in a suitable, safe manner in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Ensure that all computer location records are accurately maintained.
-
Ensure items are used on a first-in first-out (FIFO) basis wherever possible so as to ensure correct stock rotation.

Daily cycle count output to be monitored and any discrepancies investigated prior to submitting.

Operate the forklift as required.

Comply with all aspects of Health and Safety, COSHH and Dangerous goods regulations and follow the Company Safety Policy.

Adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures that are in place

Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the stores team leader / Manager.
