Job Description:
As the QHSE Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving our quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across the organisation. You will be responsible for carrying out the audit processes across a varied manufacturing site that includes moulding, extrusion and assembly.
You will be auditing internal processes and will also contribute to the company ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 accreditations.
You will investigate non-conformances and recommend/implement corrective actions or escalate to the QHSE Manager where necessary
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain QHSE policies and procedures through the auditing process.
Monitor and report on key QHSE performance indicators.
Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to minimise risks.
Lead investigations and root cause analyses for incidents and accidents.
Coordinate and participate in audits and inspections.
Conduct QHSE training and awareness programs for employees.
Stay current with relevant legislation and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of safety and quality.
Requirements:
Proven experience in QHSE auditing in the manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of relevant QHSE legislation, regulations, and best practices.
Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
Positive and collaborative communication style.
