Role Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our agency team. You will be supporting elderly residents, including those living with dementia, across a range of nursing and residential care settings in Southampton and Fareham.
This is a flexible, zero-hours role offering full-time hours for those available.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality personal care to residents

Support individuals with daily living activities (washing, dressing, toileting, feeding)

Provide compassionate care for elderly residents, including those with dementia

Assist with mobility and safe handling

Maintain accurate records and follow care plans

Work collaboratively with care home staff and other healthcare professionals

Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times
Requirements
-
Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a care setting
-
Experience supporting elderly individuals and/or dementia care
-
Enhanced DBS (Disclosure) on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Up-to-date mandatory training certificates

Ability to provide 2 professional references

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach
