We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to join a busy and growing automotive business based in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to become part of a successful team within the motor trade industry.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts function, with responsibility for maintaining an accurate and efficient purchase ledger process.
Key Responsibilities:

Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently

Matching purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes
-
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
-
Preparing payment runs in line with company procedures

Handling supplier queries by phone and email
-
Maintaining accurate records and filing systems

Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
-
Supporting the wider accounts and administration team as required
Requirements:
-
Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable / Accounts Administration role

Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Excellent communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Automotive or dealership experience would be advantageous but not essential
