Impact Recruitment are looking for an experienced logistics professional to join one of our clients on a permanent basis. In the role you will be responsible for managing the despatch of goods, keeping accurate stock levels, and maintaining a clean working environment.
This is a role that offers job security and the chance to work for a family run business who value their team. You will need access to your own transport as this company are based in a rural location.
Role: Logistics Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm
Location: Northampton
Daily Duties:
To package and label items within the warehouse
Palletise products and wrap the pallet for safety
Load goods onto vehicles using forklifts
Ensure excellent hygiene is maintained
Count and organise stock levels
Following procedures and ensure good time keeping
Complete documentation as required.
Communicate and liaise with other departments
Organise the yard and storage areas
Operate various forkliftsSkills and Knowledge required
Forklift license required (Counterbalance)
Good accuracy and computer skills
Enthusiastic team player and keen to learn
Excellent self-motivation
Health & Safety knowledge
Excellent Numeracy & communication skills
