Logistics Operator / Warehouse Coordinator required for a 3PL logistics company that covers freight forwarding and warehouse solutions for a range of clients. This company imports and exports for clients a wide range of goods, they store goods within warehouses and then arrange for orders to be dispatched. This Logistics operator role / warehouse coordinator role works with the warehouse assistants to ensure the warehouse is set up correctly and that orders can be dispatched on time. The role This Logistics Operator/warehouse coordinator role covers a range of duties including:

Maintain at all times high standards of personal Quality, Health & Safety and professionalism, and actively promote all Company policies and procedures.
Represent the company in the best possible light at all times.
Prepare manual or scanned entry packing lists.
Prepare orders for dispatch.
Prepare weekly stock checks.
Ensure all orders are ordered and booked accurately.
Accountable for looking after customer’s specific requirements.
Produce and send packing lists to customers and enter on to the system
Ensure customer record reporting is kept up to date at all times and effective customer communication is maintained.
Arrange deliveries for storage accounts.
Create monthly invoices for storage accounts.
Record stock locations and work closely with Warehouse Assistants to ensure goods are correctly located.
Manage Key Accounts where required.
Propose new ideas to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
