Job Description:
Major Recruitment has an exciting job opportunity for a Machine Operative/ Production Technician to join our prestigious manufacturing client based in Chadderton.
Previous machine operating experience is essential, CNC experience is highly desirable.
General duties to include
Working within a clean room manufacturing environment.
Operating and monitoring a CNC ply cutting machine to cut materials to specified dimensions.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions to ensure accurate production.
Carrying out quality checks on materials and finished parts to ensure they meet required standards.
Reporting machine faults or breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.
Adhering to Health & Safety regulations, including safe machine operation and use of PPE.Pay Rate: £13.16 per hour plus further increases once permanent and fully trained
Rotating Shift Pattern (38 hours per week)
Morning Shift: Monday to Friday 6am - 2.10pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday 2pm - 10.10pm
Skills and Experience required
Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality.
Previous CNC operating experience is highly desirable.
