About the Role ANZUK Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a well‑established and welcoming early years setting in Portsmouth. The nursery is committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment, where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop through play.
The successful Nursery Assistant will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for young children
Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Observe, monitor and record children's progress and development
Support children's social, emotional and educational development
Ensure safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed at all times Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)
A genuine passion for working with young children
Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
