Warehouse Operative
Location: Lowestoft
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Full-time – 39 hours per week, plus overtime
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
30-minute unpaid break Salary: £29,406 per annum (plus overtime)
An established business is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support daily warehouse operations, including goods in and goods out, forklift duties, and local deliveries and collections. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a varied working day, combining warehouse work, driving, and basic administrative tasks.
Key Duties
Receiving and dispatching goods (goods in / goods out)
Loading and unloading deliveries and collections
Operating a 2.5-ton counterbalance forklift
Manual handling and general warehouse duties
Completing local deliveries and collections using company vehicles
Checking stock movements using computer systems
Ensuring accurate delivery and dispatch documentation
Following health & safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For
Valid counterbalance forklift licence (2.5 ton)
Full clean UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment
Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
Basic computer skills for stock and dispatch checks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
