We are recruiting on behalf of our Client an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver with valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift licences to join a busy and well-established distribution warehouse in Newbury.

Key Responsibilities

Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders accurately

Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts safely

Goods in / goods out processing within a busy warehouse environment

Labelling, scanning, and updating warehouse management systems

Identifying and reporting damaged or missing stock
-
Maintaining health & safety standards in the warehouse

Supporting general warehouse duties and logistics operations
Skills & Experience Required
-
Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative / Warehouse Worker / Picker Packer

Valid Reach Truck Forklift Licence (essential)

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)

Experience operating warehouse equipment and forklift trucks

Strong understanding of warehouse processes and stock control

Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution / logistics environment

Good attention to detail and accuracy in order picking

Team player with a reliable and hardworking attitude
Desirable Skills

PPT (Pedestrian Pallet Truck) licence

Experience in logistics, distribution, or fulfilment centres

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS)
