Administrator – Construction Project (Bridgwater)
A well-established commercial contractor, delivering new-build, fit-out, and refurbishment projects across the South of England, is seeking an experienced Administrator to support a key project in Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable organisation with strong expertise in specialist industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities

Manage onboarding and vetting of site operatives through workforce management systems, including leavers, rehires, and transfers

Support supply chain partners with training, onboarding processes, and compliance requirements

Monitor applications and operative status, ensuring all compliance documentation is accurately recorded and securely stored

Collate and maintain audit evidence in line with compliance frameworks

Coordinate medicals, drug & alcohol testing, and maintain confidential records
-
Arrange site inductions, refresher sessions, and client-required behavioural safety training
-
Process requests for temporary workers, visitors, and urgent operational needs

Organise site delivery bookings via client systems and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Attend project meetings, assist with forecasting, and provide administrative support

Take meeting minutes and maintain organised records of documentation

Act as a professional point of contact for internal teams, external stakeholders, and site visitors
Requirements

Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail

Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional discretion and ability to handle confidential information

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Willingness to learn and use bespoke systems

Full UK driving licence or reliable transport

Ability to pass relevant vetting and testing requirements
