Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver
Job Description: Early Day Shift Warehouse Operative
Shift: 6:30 – 15:30 (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £27000 to £29000 - per annum
Location: DPE Group, HP4 3TY
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Purpose of the Role
To ensure the safe, accurate, and timely handling of goods during daytime operations, including lorry loading/unloading, locker processing, and vehicle preparation. The role supports continuity across logistics flows and contributes to maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Unload and load inbound/outbound LGV’s & Hiab’s

Ensure correct and secure loading/unloading practices

Check lockers/goods for damage

Process, build and program lockers ready for installation

Vehicle Preparation

Support early morning dispatch readiness

Pick and storage lockers in correct areas

Maintain clear and safe bay areas throughout the shift

Documentation & systems

Collaborate with the warehouse manager and installation teams

Assist colleagues when available and contribute to a respectful, fair team culture
Skills & Requirements

Experience in warehouse or logistics operations (preferred)

Valid forklift or MHE certification (desirable)

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Willingness to support team and colleagues
