Our client are looking for a temporary Warehouse Operative to work in their busy warehouse based on the outskirts of Wokingham.
You will need to be available immediately and hold a current valid counterbalance forklift licence.
The hourly wage is £15 – £16 per hour.
Key responsibilites for the Warehouse Operative role are:

Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently for dispatch

Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes

Ensure correct packaging, labelling, and documentation for outgoing shipments

Store goods safely in designated warehouse locations
-
Report any issues relating to deliveries, damages, or shortages

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
-
Use warehouse equipment safely and in line with procedures
-
Comply with all health & safety regulations and company policies
-
Carry out deliveries or collections when required
-
Ensure goods areC transported safely with correct documentation
-
Operate a counterbalance forklift and other warehouse equipment
-
Support general warehouse operations as needed
-
Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Skills required for the Warehouse Operative role are:
-
Warehouse experience
-
Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence
-
Experience in order picking, packing, and stock control
-
Good understanding of warehouse health & safety practices
-
Ability to lift and move goods safely
