Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Operative to join a well-established joinery business based in Winchester. This role will involve supporting the production and movement of bespoke staircase components, alongside general workshop duties.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in joinery, manufacturing or warehouse environments, who is comfortable with physical work and operating machinery.
Key Responsibilities

Operating Counterbalance and Combi forklifts to move materials and finished goods

Assisting in the production of bespoke staircase joinery components

Loading, unloading and transporting timber and materials across the workshop

Supporting skilled joiners with basic woodworking tasks

Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

Following all health & safety procedures
Requirements

Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)

Experience operating a Combi (multi-directional) forklift (highly desirable)

Experience within joinery, woodworking, manufacturing or warehouse environments

Comfortable with heavy lifting

Strong work ethic, reliability and team attitude
Desirable Skills

Experience within staircase or bespoke joinery manufacturing

Familiarity with woodworking tools and machinery

Previous experience working in a workshop environment
