Your responsibilities as Production Operative
Drive production lines to meet daily output and customer order requirements
Operate and monitor machinery across mixing, filling, packing, and wrapping stages
Check product quality throughout the production process and report any issues
Assemble, pack, sleeve, and prepare finished goods for dispatch
Maintain accurate daily records and support order processing
Ensure a clean, safe working environment and report faults or stoppages promptly
What we’re looking for in a Production Operative
Previous experience working within a production or food manufacturing environment
A full, UK driving licence (essential)
Understanding of machinery operation and production line processes
Knowledge of food safety and quality control standards
Ability to work in chilled environments and follow structured processes
Strong attention to detail when checking products and recording data
Your core working hours will be Monday-Friday, around 40 hours per week, with the occasional Saturday. Working hours can vary due to the demands of the business and production targets.
