Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Sittingbourne
Job Type: Full-time / Temp-to-perm
About the Role:
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join our clients busy team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, supporting the packing and dispatch of goods as well as assisting with the operation of the various machines.
Key Responsibilities:
Packing products into bags and placing them into boxes ready for dispatch
Printing and applying labels accurately to finished goods
Wrapping products either manually or using a shrink-wrap machine
Moving goods through to the dispatch area efficiently
Using a pump truck to transport items safely within the warehouse
Assisting with the machine operations including loading product onto the line.
Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Following health and safety procedures at all timesRequirements:
Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is desirable but not essential
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Good attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Comfortable working in a physically active roleThe hours of work are 8.00am - 4.00pm initially, however you do need to be able to start from 6am as they do operate a shift system.
