Production Operative
Location: Wellingborough
Pay Rate: £13 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday/ Day shift/ 07:00-15:30
Benefits: Onsite parking
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our client, an established and growing business. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a key part of the manufacturing team.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and be trained within a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
About the Role:
Working within the manufacturing team, you will assist with the production of UPVC casement windows (both standard and flush), as well as tilt and turn windows. You may also be required to work on patio, residential, and composite doors.
As part of a small team, your main duties will include:
Operating machinery and assisting with the production process
Cutting materials using a Supercut machine or similar
Welding using machines such as Wegoma In Line, Wegoma Quad, and Wegoma Butt (or similar)
Carrying out reinforcing, sash hanging, and beading
Reading and working from drawings and specifications
Using both hand and power tools safely and effectively
Ensuring a high-quality finish on all productsSkills and Experience Required:
Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to carry out reinforcing, sash hanging, and beading
Confident using both hand and power tools
Comfortable with heavy lifting
Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
