To support the efficient operation of a heavy engineering production environment by carrying out a range of manual, mechanical, and process tasks. The role involves working safely, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to team productivity. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities

Operate machinery and equipment in line with training and safety procedures

Assist in the manufacturing, assembly, or processing of heavy engineering components

Handle materials, parts, and products safely and efficiently

Perform basic quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

Follow work instructions, production schedules, and supervisor guidance

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment (housekeeping)

Report faults, defects, or safety concerns promptly
-
Support continuous improvement initiatives where required

Work collaboratively with team members across all shifts
Health & Safety

Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies and procedures

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Participate in training and safety briefings

Ensure safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment
Working Hours
This role operates on a 3-shift rotation:

Morning Shift: 06:00 – 14:00

Afternoon Shift: 14:00 – 22:00

Night Shift: 22:00 – 06:00
Shift pattern: 6 days on, 2 days off (rotating)
