Commutable from: Nottingham, Burton upon Trent, Ilkeston, Long Eaton, Loughborough
Salary: Up to £34,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

The Role
We are recruiting for a Pre Press Operator to join a busy studio and production team.
Receive job bag instructions and check artwork and proof status, liaising with CSR or clients where required
Prepare artwork and pre-press files using Adobe Creative Suite and imposition software
Use systems such as Insite and Kodak Prinergy within the production workflow
Check documents, images and graphics for accuracy and visual quality before print production
Ensure proofs and mock-ups are approved and signed off in line with workflow procedures
Communicate updates to relevant departments and ensure job bags are amended accordingly
Carry out general maintenance of pre-press studio equipment
Ensure all studio jobs are completed on time and within production schedules
Attend meetings to support workflow and business operations
Follow health and safety procedures and ensure proper care of equipment
About You
Strong Mac and PC skills
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and editing software such as PitStop
Experience using Insite, Kodak Prinergy, ESKO or workflow MIS software such as PACE advantageous
Experience with Litho impositions beneficial
Previous experience within a Litho and Digital print environment
