Counterbalance Forklift Driver/Stores Operative
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay: £13.25 per hour
Hours: Full Time (8am - 5pm), Includes Sunday (1pm - 8pm)
About the Role
Pertemps Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a well-established and fast-paced distribution operation. Duties
Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles in a timely manner
Order picking and preparing stock for dispatch
Ensuring goods are handled and stored correctly within a cold storage facility
Weighing goods ready to be packed for customers
Updating stock records and completing basic warehouse documentation
Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance
Working as part of a team to meet daily operational target
Requirements
Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence
Previous experience working within a warehouse or distribution environment
Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Strong understanding of health & safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
