The Role
As a Works Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth coordination of jobs, engineers, and client communications. This is a fast-paced position where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential.
🔧 Key Responsibilities

Creating and raising jobs from sales handover documentation

Scheduling engineers and ensuring maximum utilisation of resources

Managing engineer diaries and allocating work effectively

Reviewing and checking job paperwork on a daily basis

Monitoring job progress and escalating issues where required

Chasing outstanding paperwork and overdue jobs

Issuing approved documentation and certificates to clients

Verifying lab reports and ensuring accurate sample bookings
-
Preparing jobs for invoicing, ensuring all details are correct

Liaising with management on client queries, missed visits, and additional charges
-
Handling incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately

Maintaining accurate records and confirming bookings with clients

Producing weekly and historical reports to track job completion

Supporting the team with general administrative tasks and queries
