Spire Leicester Hospital is currently recruiting for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly Pre-Assessment Team on a bank basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and wants to work flexibly in a supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Healthcare Assistant in Pre-Assessment, you will work alongside our clinical team to support patients preparing for surgery. Your duties will include:
Assisting with pre-operative assessments including observations
Supporting nurses and clinicians in preparing patients for their upcoming procedures
Accurately documenting patient information and escalating any concerns
Providing reassurance and clear information to patients
Maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment at all timesWho We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone with:
Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role within a hospital or clinical setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence in taking basic clinical observations and carrying out phlebotomy procedures
Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including weekdays and weekends as required
A compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to patient care
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or a willingness to work towards this qualification) is desirableBenefits:
