Meet Our Client
We are supporting a teenage boy with a fantastic sense of humour who is looking for like-minded individuals to join his care team. He is exceptionally bright, enjoys attending school, and thrives when engaging with those around him.
We are seeking Healthcare Assistants with a positive, engaging personality who can encourage and support him in working towards his goals. He enjoys sensory activities and spending his weekends out and about, including trips to the park and cinema.
In this role, you will provide both day and overnight care, remaining attentive to his needs at all times. Your responsibilities will include supporting with personal care, moving and handling, and managing his diabetes, along with any additional clinical needs as required.
During day shifts, you will also support him to access and enjoy the activities he loves most.
Due to his complex care needs, you must remain vigilant, attentive, and responsive at all times to ensure his safety, comfort, and wellbeing.

What You’ll Need

3 months’ care experience
-
Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling

Clear communication skills
-
Experience in tracheostomy and ventilation care/management

Must be pet friendly
