Production Operative
We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing operation based in the Durham area.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment. You will be working across multiple areas of the production process, supporting the manufacturing of food products from raw ingredient stage through to finished goods.
The Role:
You will be involved in various stages of the production process, including:

Weighing and preparing ingredients

Mixing batches using industrial whisks and paddles

Monitoring product consistency and quality

Manual handling of materials (regular lifting up to 25kg)

Transferring product between production areas

Assisting with small amounts of packing and labelling

Ensuring strict hygiene and food safety standards are maintained at all times

Cleaning down equipment and workstations in line with food production regulations
You will rotate across different areas of the production floor depending on daily production requirements, so flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential.
