Bright Star Talent are currently working with a welcoming and well-organised primary school in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint an experienced School Administrator / Receptionist to join their front office team.
This is a vital role within the school, acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff. The school is seeking someone who is professional, approachable, and highly organised, with strong administrative skills. SIMS experience is a must for this position.
Working in a busy school office, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the day-to-day operations run smoothly while maintaining a warm and efficient front-of-house presence.
The Role:

Managing the reception area and welcoming visitors

Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries

Using SIMS for attendance, pupil data, and reporting

Supporting with admissions and general administrative duties

Maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information
We Are Looking For:

Previous experience in a school office environment

SIMS experience is essential – this is a non-negotiable requirement

Strong communication and organisational skills
