We are seeking reliable and motivated Kitchen Assistants to work within school environments. The role involves supporting the catering team in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with basic food preparation and meal service

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes and equipment

Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times

Support cooks and catering staff during busy service periods

Ensure proper storage and handling of food items

Adhere to allergen awareness and food safety guidelines

Maintain a safe and tidy working environment
Requirements:

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) on the Update Service (essential)
or willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS through our agency

Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Valid Food Allergens (or willingness to obtain)

Valid Safeguarding Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable
