We are a growing business with a strong reputation for reliability and service, and we are now looking to strengthen our internal finance function as we scale.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business on a part-time basis (15 hours per week).
This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time working hours, with the opportunity to grow alongside the business. As Apricus Resourcing continues to expand, there is clear potential for this position to develop into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase invoices and reconciling supplier statements

Assisting with weekly payroll coordination (including liaison with umbrella companies)

Raising and issuing client invoices

Credit control and monitoring aged debt

Bank reconciliations

Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets

Supporting month-end processes and reporting

Assisting with general administrative and finance tasks as required

Maintaining VAT Records
Key Requirements

Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (preferred)

Familiarity with accounting software Xero

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good organisational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

Confident communication skills
