Job Purpose

The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, handling, and preparing products for dispatch within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This includes picking orders, wrapping products securely, and ensuring all items are ready for shipment in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Pick products accurately according to order lists or picking instructions
Wrap and prepare goods securely for dispatch to prevent damage during transit
Ensure all orders are completed within required timeframes
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Conduct basic quality checks on products before dispatch
Assist with stock control and report any discrepancies
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Support general warehouse duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience (preferred but not essential)
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Physically fit and able to lift and move goods
Basic understanding of health and safety in a warehouse setting
Good communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions

Warehouse environment with manual handling involved
Standing and moving for extended periods
Use of equipment such as pallet trucks or wrapping machines (training provided if required)
