Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Planning Administrator to support planning and logistics operations within a fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate planning, stock control, and order fulfilment to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and update short- and medium-term planning schedules using forecast data and inbound delivery information

Create and manage transfer orders within internal systems to support a rolling operational plan

Coordinate inbound and outbound activity to maximise efficiency in line with operational requirements

Prepare and release orders for warehouse processing, ensuring accurate picking and dispatch

Monitor and validate order completion, resolving any discrepancies where required

Process customer orders and ensure timely fulfilment in line with demand

Produce transport and delivery documentation for dispatch

Maintain accurate tracking systems and update relevant sales and planning records

Liaise with internal teams and external partners to coordinate operational requirements

Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the planning function
Skills & Experience

Strong organisational and time management skills

Experience in stock control, including FIFO and date-sensitive products

Good level of numeracy and attention to detail

Confident communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong administrative and data handling capability

Experience using ERP systems (e.g. Business Central or similar) is advantageous

Background in food manufacturing or short shelf-life products is beneficial
