We're seeking a Logistics & Customer Service Assistant to join a growing and values-led business based in Twyford. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy logistics environment, enjoys variety in their day, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to customers and colleagues alike.
Purpose of the Role
The Logistics & Customer Service Assistant plays a key part in supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth delivery processes, accurate administration, and outstanding customer service. Working closely with the Customer Services Manager, you'll help maintain the business's strong reputation for quality and reliability while contributing positively to team morale and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day logistics and customer service activities in line with company procedures.
Deliver outstanding customer service at every stage of the process.
Handle inbound calls and sales enquiries, process orders, and plan efficient delivery routes.
Organise vehicle loading, maintain customer and order data using SAP, and assist with stock coordination.
Liaise with the Sales, Accounts, and Operations teams to resolve queries promptly.
Keep product knowledge up to date and inform customers of new products and developments.
Support with basic bookkeeping tasks and assist with deliveries when required.
Follow Health & Safety procedures, reporting any issues as needed.
Collaborate with other departments and communicate clearly via phone, email, and meetings.Skills & Experience
Experience in logistics, warehouse administration, or a similar role.
Knowledge of logistics or transport management systems (SAP experience an advantage).
Basic accounting knowledge and confidence with data entry.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with the occasional bank holiday or weekend shift. Flexibility is required to cover an early shift (AM) when needed.
