A supportive and inclusive primary school in Maidenhead is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in education, psychology, or youth work to gain hands-on experience working with children who need additional behavioural support.
In this role, you will work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and other professionals to support pupils who may display challenging behaviour. You'll play a key role in helping students develop positive behaviour strategies and build confidence in their learning.
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in managing their behaviour and emotions
- Help create a structured, calm, and positive learning environment
- Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who require additional support
- Assist in implementing behaviour plans and strategies
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
