Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Weston-Super-Mare
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £15.50 per hour
Contract: Temp-to-Perm, Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting a motivated Warehouse Operative with a valid Forklift Licence to join our client’s manufacturing team. This is a key operational role, supporting daily warehouse and logistics activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities

Operate a forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) safely and efficiently

Assist with the receiving, unloading, storing, and dispatching of goods

Load and unload deliveries, ensuring accuracy and care of stock

Support picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as required

Maintain accurate stock records and report any discrepancies

Ensure all warehouse areas comply with Health & Safety regulations

Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
About You

Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred)

Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment

Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach

Reliable, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision

Basic computer skills for stock control systems

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

Strong awareness of health & safety in a warehouse setting
