A client of ours in the Halstead area are recruiting a Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm and paying £25,000 - £27,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting to the FD, key duties include but are not limited to:
Accounts Payable: Processing supplier invoices, managing employee expenses, and compiling payment runs.
Accounts Receivable: Posting bank receipts and following up on late payments.
Bank Reconciliation: Updating and reconciling bank accounts and managing petty cash.
Data Entry: Entering accurate financial data into accounting software
Financial Reporting: Assisting in preparing monthly management accounts and VAT returns.
Administrative Support: Filing, scanning documents, and resolving supplier or staff queries.
Other Ad hoc projects: Streamlining processes and improving financial and management reporting.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Finance Administrator position:
Working towards AAT accountancy qualification or willingness to work towards this.
Strong Microsoft excel skills
High attention to detail
Previous accounts experience is desirable however training is available
Knowledge of accounting principles
