Job Title: Legal Assistant – Residential Conveyancing
Location: Broxburn, West Lothian
Job Type: Full-Time, Office-Based
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 depending on experience
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Assistant to join a busy Residential Conveyancing team based in Broxburn.
You’ll support Solicitors with a high volume of property transactions including purchases, sales, remortgages and transfers of title.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting Solicitors with day-to-day conveyancing transactions

Drafting legal documents and correspondence

Preparing and submitting LBTT returns

Handling registrations and post-completion tasks

Liaising with clients, lenders and third parties

Managing case files and ensuring accuracy throughout
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in Residential Conveyancing (essential)

Strong administrative and organisational skills

Excellent attention to detail

Confident communicator with a professional phone manner

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
